Shetland Livestock Marketing Group in conjunction with Aberdeen & Northern Marts had 1490 lambs on Friday 5th September at the opening sale of the season. All classes were sold ahead of seller’s expectations especially with the current national downturn in the prime lamb markets. The average increased by £2.06 on the corresponding sale of last year.
