Shetland Livestock Marketing Group in conjunction with Aberdeen & Northern Marts had 1435 lambs and 35 cattle on Friday 4th September at the opening sale of the season.

Despite the current downward trend in lamb values the sale average showed a decrease of only £3.09 on the corresponding sale of last year.

The Show was sponsored by Brae Building Services and judged by David Leslie, Niaroo, Laxfirth and his awards were as follows
