Shetland Livestock Marketing Group in conjunction with Aberdeen & Northern Marts sold 3301 lambs and ewes at their annual on-farm sales on the island of Unst, the most northerly livestock auction sale in the UK.
All classes met a very steady demand and were generally not shown in as good bloom as previous years due to the poor summer weather.
