Shetland Livestock Marketing Group in conjunction with Aberdeen & Northern Marts sold 47 Cattle and 1726 Store and Breeding sheep at the final sale of the season on Saturday 3rd November 2012.
Quality kinds met a keen demand whilst poorer kinds were slower to sell.
Bullocks to £1000 for a Limousinx from D Anderson, Newhouse, Grupps.
Stot Calves to £640 and 210p per kg for Charolais crosses from Messrs Halcrow, Tow, Cunningsburgh.
Heifers to £600 for a Simmental x from Mrs H Mackenzie, Aithsetter, Cunninsburgh and to 205.1p per kg for Charolaisx from D & G Nicolson, Haygreen, Cunningsburgh.
OTM Cows to £900 and 120 p per kg for a Simmental cross from Brough, Skeld.
