SLMG is committed to deliver better recruitment and employment practices and to adhere to the Scottish Government guidance on Fair Work First.

We will:

• Support payment of the Real Living Wage as minimum.
• Endeavour to create a more diverse and inclusive workplace through for e.g. providing opportunities for young people to gain experience, where appropriate to engage with apprenticeships and vocational qualifications schemes and engage with a wide range of partners.
• Recognise the challenges of busy working and personal life through the provision of flexible and family friendly working practices that include appropriate and proportionate homeworking where possible.
